The City of Hidden Hills is a private, guard-gated residential community nestled between the western foothills of the San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles County and the Ventura County line. It is surrounded by the nature reserve and greenbelt of the Upper Las Virgenes Canyon Open Space Preserve, a park with miles of equestrian trails and hiking.

Hidden Hills offers the highest level of privacy. Community programs include a summer camp for children, community and children’s theater, an annual parade, carnival, parties, snow days, and weekly summer barbecues.

The city was designed and developed in the 1950's by A.E. Hanson, a renowned Southern California landscape architect and planned community developer.
